All in all it wasn't the best experience we've had at this hotel. Took forever to get one and sometimes wouldn't stop on the right floor. There was construction going on by the elevators and not sure if that was why but the elevators weren't working correctly either. They offered to take off one day of the resort fee.
Once again called the front desk and was told they had some sort of an issue with housekeeping. Wet towels still in the bathroom and bed was not made. We were in town for the SEMA convention so we left early the next day and upon our return in the late afternoon it was apparent that no one cleaned the room. We had to stop one of the housekeeping ladies and she brought us one. There was no remote for the tv in the room and we called the front desk but they never brought it up. There was a lightbulb out over the sink and the tube of lotion was half used. The bathroom tub was rusted in spots that when it got wet, rust was all on the floor. The room my husband and stayed in was not as clean as in the past. We went ahead and paid the charge since we were worried about getting a good room. We've never had to pay to check in early before so was a little taken aback. Upon arrival we asked if we could check in early and was told that it would be a $30.00 charge. We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 10 years and never had an issue but this year seemed different. Recently stayed at the Golden Nugget for 3 nights and was very disappointed.
